Shannon Wortman, 40, passed away Monday, January 2, 2017.  Shanon was the youngest of 10 to Robert Jay Sr.and Vonda Lue (Bartkoski) Wortman.  She attended All Saints Consolidated Catholic School graduating in 1990 and F.L. Schlagle High School graduating in 1994.  She enjoyed going to the movies and her Friday nights out to eat with her son, brother and sister.  She also enjoyed their trips together to California to visit another brother, and thrift stores and garage sales with her sister Andrea.

Visitation will be Friday, January 6th, at Butler Meyers Funeral Home, 6300 Parallel in Kansas City, Kansas.  A mass of Christian burial will be Saturday, January 7th, at All Saints/St. Joseph-St. Benedict Catholic Church, 809 Vermont in KCK at 10am.  Burial to follow at Mt. Calvery Cemetery, 38th and State Ave. in KCK.

She was preceded in death by her mother Vonda, sisters Cristina Wortman and Carla Wortman, and nephew Joshua Wortman.  Survivors include her son Joseph Wortman, father Robert Wortman Sr., sisters Teresa Wortman, Mary Wortman, and Andrea Wortman and brothers Robert Wortman Jr., Ronald Wortman and wife Faye, John Wortman and wife Becky, and Brian(Charlie) Wortman.  She is also survived by nieces Shauna Flanagan and husband Mike, Kayla Wortman, Ellianna Wortman, Aubrianna Mecum, Aurora Wortman.  Nephews Kyle Wortman and partner Tessa, Danny Wortman, Luke Wortman, Ryan Wortman, Steven McCord, Tristen Wortman and Malcolm Flanagan, aunts, uncles, and many, many, many cousins, and friends.
Shannon was truly loved and will be missed by ALL!
