A message to our families and guests:

Thank you for trusting Mary Butler Meyers Funeral Home with your funeral service needs. Your trust is important to us.

Our hearts and thoughts go out to those individuals who have been affected by this unprecedented event and we appreciate the healthcare workers, local communities, and governments around the world who are on the front line working to contain this Coronavirus.

Please know that Mary Butler Meyers Funeral understands the severity and the risk involved with the Coronavirus (COVI-19). As a public entity we want to inform you that we are taking all the necessary precautions to ensure that we reduce your risk of exposure while visiting our facility.

We will continue to work in conjunction with county offices and medical professionals to serve our community in a timely manner with the dignity and care that they deserve. As always, we are here to serve. Please reach out to us if there is anything we can do to help you or your family through these challenging times.

We are monitoring all communications distributed by the Center For Disease Control and the National Funeral Directors Association as well as our local and state health agencies in regard to all information related to the Coronavirus (COVID-19).

Viewings should only be conducted on bodies that have been embalmed and should only be permissive with ten (10) or less people. Graveside services should be private and conducted with ten (10) or less people. Due to reduced staff at county offices and/or closures, there may be delays in securing cremation permits and certified death certificates. We ask for everyone's patience as we work through this process together

We will make cleaning procedures top priority at our facility. Remember to take steps necessary to keep yourself healthy. A personal space zone (distance of approximately 6 ft.) will be created between visitors, family members, and staff to keep from spreading the virus by personal contact. Please wash your hands, avoid touching your face, and practice appropriate self-care, including staying home when you are sick.

Thank you for choosing Mary Butler Meyers Funeral for your funeral services and to Celebrate the Lives of those you love.
