On Wednesday April 28th 2021, age 83 we regret to announce Carmen Stevens passed away in her home in Mclouth KS, a resident of 52 years. Carmen was born in 1937 in Nebraska, county of Scottsbluff.
Carmen was preceded in death by her parents, Jacob and Mary Gutierrez. And siblings Grace Medina, Eddie Barrera, Lola Martin.
Carmen was a loving mother of 6 children. She is survived by her son, David Carrillo, daughters, Patricia Munoz, Eleanor Vestal (husband John Vestal), Elizabeth Scrimsher, son, Stephen Hill (wife Tina Hill) all of Kansas City Metro area and son, Jacob Hill of Mclouth KS., 11, Grandchildren, 23 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great Great Grandchildren and sisters, Blanche Caton and Mary Ellen Myers. Including many nieces and nephews.
Carmen was known for her loving ways and passion of making friends. She made family smile and laugh with her. She had an infectious smile and compassionate spirit. She was always very loving, giving and never asked for anything in return.
Carmen loved to Line Dance and was a member of the Outdoors Women Club and Red Hat Society. She loved, lived life and traveled the greater part of world, later in life . Carmen will be truly missed. She will remain in our hearts FOREVER.
