Dorothy passed away surrounded by family in her home on Friday, January 1, 2021. Dorothy was born in Kansas City, Kansas to John Duma and Ann (Koska) Duma. She was a lifelong member of All Saints (St. Joseph’s) Church in Kansas City, Kansas, where she was Baptized, married and where her funeral mass will be held. She will be interned at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Kansas City, Kansas.
Dorothy joined her parents, John and Ann Duma, her stepfather William Brinza, her brother William Brinza and daughter-in-law Nita Michalski in heaven.
She leaves behind; Her husband of 67 years, Edmund J Michalski Sr, her three children Edmund Michalski Jr and his wife Melojane, Debi Becker and Kathy Myers, 11 grandchildren; Aaron Michalski, Michelle Samar and her husband Lyes, Monica Torres and her husband Joshua, Melanie Regala, Symon Regala, Raymond Regala, Stephanie Becker, Adam Becker, Kelly Becker, Leslie Coffman and her husband Quentin and 6 great-grandchildren; Logan and Sydney Coffman, Lincoln and Troy Becker, Sophia and Gabriel Samar, Her brothers John Duma and Frank Duma.
She was a true light in this world and brought joy to those around her. Her family describes her as the most loving, proud, and adoring mother, wife, and grandmother (Babka) and she will be sincerely missed. Kochamy Cię.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 6, 2021 9:00 A.M., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. at All Saints/ St. Joseph-St. Benedicts Catholic Church, 811 Vermont, Kansas City, Kansas 66102.
