Memorial Obituary ~
Edwin George Prinzing
1936 - 2022
Edwin (Eddie) George Prinzing was born to the late Raymond & Pearl (Peaches) Prinzing, a logger/farmer & homemaker, in Fairbault, MN. He was immersed in the Christian community at an early age, which would be a building block for his lifelong bond with Our Father. He went to Bible College in Seattle, WA for several years and pastored many Christian Assembly of God Churches in the Pacific Northwest.
Eddie was blessed with a large and loving family. He married his sweetheart, M. Joan McTimmonds, in January 1958. Eddie raised his four children with loving patience, discipline, humility and always tempered with God’s Grace and Wisdom. His love of gardening and carpentry were known passions, developed with his extraordinary talents for tending and guidance. He was a man to be admired, a ‘Spiritual Advisor’, and most often a ‘Hero” for his close understanding of the Lord and abilities to share with passion and servitude.
Eddie was always a Minister of Christ, living an example of kindhearted goodwill, freely giving unto others, showing goodness to all. His trade was as a meat cutter, retiring after 25+ years with Fred Meyer, Inc., as Meat Dept. Mgr. He was known by all throughout his life as ‘the sweetest, funniest & most kind man ever”, (he never met a stranger), living a simple life, endearing qualities and very humble. He will be rejoiced by his loved ones for his mission of spreading God’s word, his presence will be dearly missed.
Eddie is survived by his son Robin Prinzing, his daughter Tami (Danny) La Gore; his grandchildren, Taj Rockitt, Kasha Mika (Ari Ingalls), Brenen Prinzing, Cara (Don) Dawes, Dakota La Gore, Christina and Heather Wright; and his sisters, Ruth Lovegren, Rosemary Bobson and Harriet Pickering. He is preceded in death by his wife Joan Prinzing; children Ricky Prinzing and Teri Wright; and brothers Ray, Ruel and Reuben Prinzing.
