Obituary

Kenneth Ray Siefkas Sr. 82 passed away on February 7th, 2022 11:32 am at his home in Kansas City, Kansas with his son Lloyd and Granddaughter Leanna.  Kenny was born in 1939 in Brunswick Missouri to William Albert Siefkas and Beulah Mae.  

 He was preceded in death by his brothers William Albert Siefkas Jr.(1930 -1995), Robert Eugene Siefkas (1932-1994), Ronald Lee Siefkas (1934-2021), and sisters Velveeta Marie Siefkas(1947-unk) and Mary Lou Siefkas(1937). He is survived by sisters Lura Ann Siefkas (Attig) and Carolyn Kay Siefkas.

On March 7th 1956 Kenny joined the Navy seeking adventure as his siblings did by joining the military. He served as a Deckhand on the USS Renville and was honorably discharged in 1962. In 1959, Kenny married Barbara Carol, she preceded him in death. 

He is survived by their children Nina Sue Siefkas born June 29th 1959, Kenneth Ray Siefkas Jr. born in 1961, and Lloyd Raymond Siefkas born in 1965.  In October of 1970, He bought the house where he died 52 years later in Kansas City, Kansas. 

During the years Kenny ran Stag Auto Body and worked in the body shop of Ed Roberts Cheverolet where he then retired at the age of 55. He spent his life working on cars, owning enough to have a car dealership, fishing, shooting guns, creating one of a kind projects, and hanging out with friends and family. During his 27 years of retirement he spent all the time he could get with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren making memories and causing mischief. 

He is survived by his grandchildren; Jimmy Siefkas, Jeremy Siefkas, Ryan Siefkas, Melanie Jones, Krissy Siefkas, Nikki Smith, Elizabeth Pendley, and Leanna Malic. And Great Grandchildren: Austin, Tylor, Sarenitty, Chasity, Chloe, Walter, Mark, Justin, Paytyn, Caleb, Aidan, Natalie, Chloe, Jordan, Blaize, David, Paul, Jaden, Leland, and Garrette.
