Obituary

Ramon Gordon Juiliano, 85, of Kansas City, KS, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2021.  Ramon was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather.  He spent many years of his life between Kansas City, KS, and Concordia, KS, with most of his early years spent around the Bennington, KS area. Ramon worked many jobs over his lifetime and retired from Alstom Powers in 2015.  He was an avid sports fan and participated in many sports in his younger years, such as bowling and softball.  He would always cheer on his KC Chiefs and loved watching KU basketball.  Ramon enjoyed riding motorcycles and all the friends he made along his journeys.  Ramon joined in marriage to his first wife, Mary Alice Juiliano, 1960 she proceeds him in death. In 1987 Ramon found love again and entered into marriage with Susan Juiliano.  Ramon was a kind, loving man who never met a stranger.  He loved his family dearly and will be greatly missed by all.     

 

Proceeded in death by 1st wife Mary Alice Juiliano, Mom & Step-dad Mattie and Earl Austin,  Dad & Step-Mom John and Bernice Juiliano, two brothers Roy & Bruce Austin, and grandson Ryen Allen Scott Vanden Broeder

Survivors include Susan Ann Juiliano of the home.  Two sisters Alyce Goin (Mike) of Alta Vista, KS, Mary Holeman (Greg) of Salina, KS.  A brother Gary Austin of Bennington, KS.  Sons Ramon Juiliano Hutchinson, KS, Brian Vanden Broeder (Vicki), and Robert Vanden Broeder of Kansas City, KS.  Daughters Gaby Juiliano (Chris Shuman), Warsaw, MO, and Nora Herdman (Dwayne) of Gladstone, Mo.  Grandchildren Talia Juiliano (Chaun Myers) Weir, KS, Eric Thiessen (Haley) Lyons, KS, Gordon Thiessen (Brooke) Kearney, NE, Robyn Brooks (Shaun) and Robert Vanden Broeder of Concordia, KS, Russell Vanden Broeder, Ramon Juiliano, and James (Alicia Kepler) of Kansas City, KS, Heather Luth (Gerald) Bonner Springs, KS, and Sherree Cecil Kansas City, MO. Great-grandchildren include MiKayla & Malia Vinson, Kegan & Kaiden Myers, Liam & Nicholas Thiessen,  Nash, Emery, and Lilah Brooks, Rynn Vanden Broeder, Dylan Strain, Anthony, Logan, and Jackson Juiliano, Cheyenne and Steven Luth, Breanna, Alyssa, and Ian Perez, Raven, Madyson, Ava, and King Cecil.  Great-Great-Grandchildren Addison Vinson, Arianna Luth, and Noah Lentz.  Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends. 

In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorial contributions to St. Jude's Hospital.
